The South African Democratic Teachers’ Union (SADTU) hereby requests all media houses to refrain from using the name of the teacher who passed away due to the COVID 19. In a statement issued by the Union early today, the teacher, who was our member was mentioned. The family has requested, for the sake of privacy, not to have the teacher’s name published.

 We sincerely hope our request will be granted.
