The National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union [NEHAWU] in the North West Province will this coming Tuesday [March 20, 2018] as part of its Provincial Day of Action march to the North West Provincial Legislature to deliver a memoranda of demands in relation to the crisis currently engulfing the Department of Health in the Province.

A press conference will be convened tomorrow [Monday March 19, 2018] to communicate the details of the march and the state of readiness. NEHAWU will be joined by both the Democratic Nurses Organization South Africa [DENOSA] and the Young Communist League of South Africa [YCLSA].

The press conference will also be used to communicate the decisions of the NEHAWU Provincial Executive Committee meeting and the call by fraternal organisations for the Premier of the North West to resign.
