COSATU Call Center Number 010 002 2590

The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) has recently launched a new call center to provide much-needed assistance to workers facing labour-related challenges. This dedicated resource aims to offer support, information, and guidance to both members of COSATU-affiliated unions and unorganized workers, ensuring that they have a place to turn for help with workplace issues.

COSATU Free State supports the march for student safety in Qwaqwa on 07 October 2019

COSATU Free State supports the march led by SASCO and COSAS to raise awareness on the plight of the students who are studying in Qwaqwa. As the Federation, we will also be mobilizing our members to support this activity which is intended to march to SAPS in Phuthaditjhaba to hand over a memorandum of demands for the safety of all students at all times in that area.

The march will take place in line with the details below:

Date                : 07 October 2019

Time                : 10H00

Assembly point: Freedom Square, Phuthaditjhaba, Qwaqwa

We believe that the students deserve protection as a study to be able to usher in a new era for our country which would see economic growth and full employment. As the Federation, we call upon our members to take a few hours leave from work to join this important event and to support our children and future members.

We would like to take this opportunity to condemn the current scourge of women and children abuse which is clearly spiralling out of control and call on the government to protect the citizens who voted it into power, by mobilizing all resources at their behest to address this national crisis!
