The Congress of South African Trade Unions in Limpopo would be convening Local Anti-Corruption Imbizos in nine (09) municipalities where there were VBS unlawful investments and general allegations of corruption.
The Local Anti-Corruption Imbizos are planned to take place on the 17th October 2019 as follows:

Purpose of the Imbizos:
§ To assess whether there has been any action was taken by the mentioned municipalities against Mayors, Municipal Managers, Chief Financial Officers and any official/politicians implicated in the unlawful investment of public monies into the collapsed VBS and corruption
§ To receive and discuss any report of corruption happening in the municipality
§ To mobilize the alliance, civil society, business, traditional leaders, youth organizations, women organizations and communities against corruption
§ Prepare for Local/Provincial Anti-Corruption Marches on the 14th November 2019
