The South African Municipal Workers’ Union (SAMWU) will on Thursday, 30 July hold a virtual Imbizo with municipal workers and the media. The purpose of the Imbizo is to give an update on salary and wage agreements, benchmarking, COVID-19 allowance, the union’s way forward on municipalities that have not implemented salary increases and to have an engagement with membership. 

The Imbizo will be held as follows;

Time   : 11:30

Venue : 3rd Floor SAMWU House, 84 Frederick Street, Marshalltown, Johannesburg 

The Imbizo will also be streamed live on the union’s Facebook page (@officialsamwu) and Twitter (@SAMWUnion).
