The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) will present its submission on the Electoral Amendment Bill to Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs at 12h00 Tuesday 01 March 2022.

The objective of the Electoral Amendment Bill is to effect the Constitutional Court judgement requiring independent candidates be allowed to contest national and provincial elections.
