The Congress of South African Trade Unions in Gauteng is inviting all members of the the media to give an update on it’s preparations and readiness for the National Strike. This follows the Federation’s official announcement of a planned National Strike for Wednesday, the 24th of August 2022. As mentioned by COSATU, this socio-economic strike represents a push back and a response by the workers to the ongoing class warfare directed at them by both public and private sector employers.
