COSATU Limpopo conveys its deepest sympathy to Comrade Lucy Kgopana for losing her house and belongings in a fire

The Congress of South African Trade Unions(COSATU) in Limpopo has learnt with sadness about the devastation suffered by Comrade Nkhumeleni Lucy Kgopana, a member of the South African Emergency Personnel’s Union(SAEPU), who is also an employee at Musina Emergency Medical Services. Cde Lucy and her family lost their house and belongings in a fire that broke out in their home in Maniini, a Thohoyandou neighbourhood.

COSATU conveys its deepest sympathy and commiserates with Comrade Kgopana and the family for their loss. COSATU leadership joined SAEPU leadership on the visit to the family where kitchen utensils and blankets were provided.

The Federation pledges to provide all possible support to Comrade Lucy and her family. In the same vein we call upon businesses, community members and comrades to extend their helping hand in any form of support to the family in the spirt of ubuntu, to restore their lives back to normalcy.
