The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) in the Western Cape will hold a picket at the Sea Harvest offices, to highlight the plight of the the 11 fishermen who were on duty aboard the company’s vessel when it sunk in May this year. The workers were presumed drowned, the search was called off and their bodies were never recovered.

COSATU implores the South African Maritime Safety Authority to expedite the investigation.
