SACCAWU is to hold pickets and marches to employers on 7 October 2024: International Day of Decent Work

SACCAWU will be embarking on marches and pickets to join Cosatu in its call for Decent Work for all workers in the country. This call is particularly pertinent to the retail, hospitality and food processing sectors. In these sectors we see various employers who pay workers less than the minimum wage. The sector is well known for its heightened job insecurity, casualisation, retrenchments, perpetual loss of jobs through restructuring, trade union bashing, and many more.

SACCAWU will be embarking on marches and pickets as follows:

A march to be held from SABC Radio Park to Shoprite in Schoeman Street.

Tshwane
