COSATU Call Center Number 010 002 2590

The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) has recently launched a new call center to provide much-needed assistance to workers facing labour-related challenges. This dedicated resource aims to offer support, information, and guidance to both members of COSATU-affiliated unions and unorganized workers, ensuring that they have a place to turn for help with workplace issues.

COSATU demonstrations against budget cuts

The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) will embark on various demonstrations against austerity measures tomorrow, 19 February 2025. The pickets and marches will coincide with the Budget Speech to be tabled by Finance Minister, Enoch Godongwana, to reiterate the Federations’ rejection of the current reduction in allocations to critical departments such as education and health resulting in staff shortages, limited resources and inadequate service delivery.
