SADTU EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF PSCBC CHAIRPERSON, INGRID DIMO

The South African Democratic Teachers’ Union (SADTU) has received, with extreme shock, disbelief, and devastation, the news of the passing of the Chairperson of the Public Service and Coordinating Bargaining Council (PSCBC), Ingrid Dimo.

As one of the pioneering Black female leaders in the field of labour law and industrial relations, Dimo served the PSCBC with dignity and unwavering commitment. She played a crucial role in ensuring that the Council remained steadfast in its mandate to uphold labour peace and industrial stability in the public service through collective bargaining, dispute prevention and resolution and good governance.

SADTU expresses its sincere condolences to her husband, her two children, extended family, and friends. We pray that God will comfort and strengthen them in this difficult time. May the beautiful soul of Ingrid rest in eternal peace.
