Applications for media accreditation to cover COSATU’s National May Day event are officially open. The Federation will continue with its tradition of hosting multiple May Day celebrations across the country with its national event to be held at the Kees Taljaard Stadium in Middleburg, Mpumalanga at 9am on 1 May.

The celebrations will be held under the Theme: “Build Working Class Unity for Economic Liberation towards Socialism”.

COSATU President Zingiswa Losi will deliver the keynote address with messages of support from the African National Congress (ANC) and the South African Communist Party (SACP).

A final draft program for the day will be shared with members of the media in due course.
