The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) will present its submission on the Constitution Eighteenth Amendment Bill that seeks to elevate the South African Sign Language from its current status to a language that government needs to promote to an official language. 

The submission will be presented to Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Justice and Correctional Services’ hearings (virtual) from 09h30 on Tuesday, 07 March 2023.
