The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) will present its submission on the Division of Revenue Bill to Parliament’s Select Committee: Appropriations from 09h00 Wednesday 23 March 2022.
The Division of Revenue Bill provides for the allocation of funds to provincial and local governments in the Budget. This constitutes 41.4% (for the provincial government) and 9.8% (for local government) of nationally collected revenue of R566 billion in the 2022/23 budget.
