The Congress of South African Trade Unions in Gauteng is inviting members of the media to a cost-of-living protest. The protest will highlight the following:

·       Fuel price increases

·       Food price increases

·       High transport cost

·       Unemployment, poverty, and inequalities

·       Electricity crisis

The memorandum of demands and proposed solutions will be handed to the Ministers of Public Enterprises, Finance, Minerals and Energy and Employment and Labour as follows:
