The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (POPCRU) is to hold a press conference briefing following its Special national Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.
The Special NEC which started on the morning of Friday, 4th June 2021 discussed a number of issues, including the political input by the President of POPCRU Cde Zizamele Cebekhulu. Amongst others, the meeting discussed and assessed the prevalence of Covid-19 pandemic in workplaces, current wage negotiations, attacks on Palestine and departmental matters within the criminal justice cluster.
