The South African Emergency Personnel’s Union (SAEPU) supports COSATU Limpopo march that will take place on the 14th November 2018 against corruption and VBS looters to demand urgent action and arrest against those implicated. We hope and believe that the march will put more pressure on relevant agencies to take action against those who are implicated.

We commend the provincial government for suspending some of the senior municipal officials implicated on the matter and will patiently wait for the final report of the investigations. The move must send a clear message to those who fail to comply with the necessary prescripts of the law in all government institutions.

However, we are very disappointed following the recent high court judgement that issued final order to liquidate the VBS.
