The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) is set to hold its 15^th National Congress at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand from 14 to 17 September 2026.

Accordingly, the Federation held the final meeting of its 14^th National Congress Central Executive Committee (CEC) from 24 to 25 August, to make final preparations and assess the work done in the past four years.

COSATU therefore invites members of the media to a press briefing on Saturday, 29 August, to assess the Federation’s work and achievements since the 14^th National Congress in 2022. These include securing the Social Relief of Distress Grant and the Two-Pot retirement reforms.
