The National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union [NEHAWU] in the Western Cape invites the media to a press briefing on Thursday, 11 September 2025 at 13H00 at Cape Town Lodge Hotel.

The press briefing will be used to address the members of the media and the public about the collapsed wage negotiations at NSFAS which have led to the union being issued a strike certificate, misleading press briefing by NSFAS Acting CEO together with NSFAS Board Chairperson regarding NSFAS Head Office relocation to Pretoria, and the systematic governance breakdown at College of Cape Town evident through HR department capture, nepotism, cronyism, targeting of SASCO leaders by the Principal, and financial mismanagement.
